For the Tristan Auer agency, we made these two table tops out of Volvic lava, which we shaped and glazed by hand. We followed the intentional image and the moodboard we were given. With our interior design clients, we often work from reference images or a specific colour. For this project for the interior design of a single-family home, our client gave us a lot of freedom of interpretation. It is very often halfway between a workbrief and its appropriation by our workshop that the right answer to the project is found.
